It's a cozy corner space with all of my favorite things; a neon flamingo light at the counter, mosaic tiled floor and their menu in an oh so trendy letter board.  I've been thinking of adding a millennial pink version to my office space.   

And just when you think it can't get any better than Flamingos, the bathroom is covered with bananas. Don't judge me but if I could have eaten my empanadas surrounded by that wallpaper, I totally would have.  

As for my jacket, I decided to go with the Cuban theme and wear a Zara number with pineapples and pink blooms to be festive.   ​

I'm headed to Palm Springs tomorrow for a much needed girls getaway and mental break.  On the list are plenty of cheeky spots including an Ice Cream shop that has Champagne flavored scoops!  As Gaga says, it's #theCure and I'm SO ready.

A New Year always comes with a list of how you'll better yourself in the next 365 days; get fit, meet a boy, travel more, the possibilities are endless if your thing is starting with a clean slate.  Creating my chic studio workspace was a year long resolution in 2016... check!  

Finding inspiration and material to make your 2017 blog resolution a reality was exciting but soon met with overwhelming thoughts of what I could write about or if it would even be meaningful to share.  I soon realized scrolling through my Instagram, I was already telling a story; whether it be meeting cute boots in Vegas, finding adorable Toucan wallpaper at a restaurant or getting sassy on a Saturday night after too many glasses of bubbly with my girls, I was sharing a moment I wanted people to connect with through the heart of the like.

​So why Meet Me @ The Palace?  That was just it.  I remember this moment to my right so vividly and still wish to this day I submitted it for a "Shot on an IPhone" billboard.  I've met a lot of gorgeous Arizona sunsets but this one will always take the cake.  It was the day I fell in love with this place in my backyard and felt like possibilities were endless.  I could completely forget about what's happening in the day to day and just be... say goodbye to the bad hair day, the wrong text message to the guy of the moment, a frustrating day at the office and get lost.  Each time I'm there, the palace looks different and yet somehow, she never has a bad angle!

As I was on my 30x commute with the Barbie's + Ken's of the Marina, a song came on and it's the perfect motto to the second part of my new year's resolution... Let Go of the Wheel.  Something easier said than done but a Taylored Approach is a push in the right direction.
