Una Noche

Lately, I build my go-to restaurant list via Instagram.  It seems the trendy catch to a new place is a cute mural or wallpaper.  Pair that with a formula of cheeky cocktails + decor and I'm in.  I have to say not much can top my boyfriend Leo and that palm print down on Sacramento Street but it doesn't take much to thrill me!  I recently visited the adorable Media Noche which for those who know me, the Mission isn't my usual stomping ground.  And to be clear, the main motivation wasn't necessarily the food, it was dare I say it... Flamingos​.

It's a cozy corner space with all of my favorite things; a neon flamingo light at the counter, mosaic tiled floor and their menu in an oh so trendy letter board.  I've been thinking of adding a millennial pink version to my office space.   

And just when you think it can't get any better than Flamingos, the bathroom is covered with bananas. Don't judge me but if I could have eaten my empanadas surrounded by that wallpaper, I totally would have.  

As for my jacket, I decided to go with the Cuban theme and wear a Zara number with pineapples and pink blooms to be festive.   ​

I'm headed to Palm Springs tomorrow for a much needed girls getaway and mental break.  On the list are plenty of cheeky spots including an Ice Cream shop that has Champagne flavored scoops!  As Gaga says, it's #theCure and I'm SO ready.
