9/24/2017 Chic SettingsChic settings can be experienced in lots of ways. A table set up that is festive, colorful and carefree; a relaxing atmosphere involving a few treats and even a magical sky that is to die for. Luckily the past few weekends have incorporated all of these moments. It's no secret I love any excuse to throw a bunch of accessories together. Especially fun when I can host and get creative with place settings. Palm print, raffia and festive florals, check! I always have to sneak a Veuve accessory which usually rotates between this pillow and a megaphone that doubles as a vase. I reupholstered these dining chairs a few years ago and my heart was set on croc. It was a large order for a DIY but it needed to be conquered and I love how they turned out. I definitely don't take enough advantage of sitting in this cozy space. Chic setting #2: Sporting a metallic Missoni while sipping earl grey and eating adorable sammies. When your biggest decision venturing to the Laurel Court tea room is how many sweets you indulge in, that's a pretty fab Sunday. Paired with girlfriends that heart pretty scenes. You're set. Chic setting #3: Venturing to my new Marina street obsession, Avila. This pink house is to die for and conveniently her boyfriend, the blue house sits right beside her. I agree it's evident I need some type of pink incorporated into the curb appeal of my future home. To the lucky Mr. of TC, you're welcome. Chic setting #4: Always my place if I go into hiding, the Palace. City sunsets have been insane. So many viewing spots to choose from in my backyard and in the end, it always comes down to one. Always. I don't know what it is but the peaceful ambiance, structural beauty and glistening water puts my mind at ease. I'm gearing up for major scenes this week with a double header of the Color Factory and Museum of Ice Cream. I'm ready for a snap in that sprinkle pool. A real life Candy Land game board, pure genius. The biggest decision. What statement to make. Sequin or bubble gum pinks paired with paillettes. Stay tuned.
