a Taylored Approach

10/29/2017 0 Comments In Pink Houses I TrustThere is something whimsical about the color pink and it seems every time I turn a city corner, there she is... a home in this happy hue. It's one of those things you don't really expect to notice until it's front of mind so it's really not coincidental that on a coffee journey, you have to stop and snap because you've found yet another one. I've realized I've cultivated quite the collection over the years. What I love is even in similar tones, each home has it's own unique detail to showcase the color. Crisp white molding, palm trees, a balcony or the most perfectly manicured lawn, I love it all. The idea of a pink home, door or even garage is it's a moment to say you are still young at heart, full of personality and can balance the perfect blend of serious + playful vibes. When I grow up, I can't help but want just that. And maybe it doesn't have to be a pink house or door. But it's elements of whimsy and random vignettes coming together to create a home moment that's so Tay. I'll leave you with the best of my Marina favorites. It's about time I move onto a new neighborhood in search of that P word or to a different hue in the rainbow. Stay tuned.
Until then, you can find me on my palm print couch binge watching Stranger Things on this finally fall city feeling kinda Sunday. I just started the series to see what the hype is about and I'm addicted already. Perfect way to avoid Sunday tasks and maybe whipping up some type of pink drink later to carryout this hued theme of a day. Happy Sunday!
